Bookings Management: Detailed Information and Functionalities

List of bookings in the Channel Manager

On the Bookings Management page, you can view all bookings for a selected property or across all properties. Below is a breakdown of each element on the page to help you efficiently manage and review key details of each booking.

1. View Booking

Click “View” to open a sidebar showing the details of the selected booking.

2. Booking Details

  • Status: Indicates the booking status, which can be New, Modified, or Cancelled.

  • Source / OTA: Displays the channel where the booking was made.

  • Channel: Custom name of the channel, editable in the settings.

  • Reservation ID: The Channex ID for the booking.

  • OTA Reservation ID: The ID assigned by the OTA.

  • Booked at: Date when the booking was made.

  • Property: Property to which the booking is assigned.

  • RUID: Internal code for Booking.com (for support if required).

3. Check-in and Guest Information

This section shows guest details shared by the OTA with Channex, depending on how much data the OTA provides.

4. Room Details

  • Price Breakdown: Shows the daily rate for each day booked, including any promotions applied.

  • Guests: Name of the guest.

  • Occupancy: Occupancy for the room.

  • Meal Plan: Meal plan included in the booking.

  • Smoking Preference: Indicated smoking preference, if provided.

  • Policies: Policies active at the time of booking.

  • Cancellation Policy: Cancellation policy details and penalty as provided by Booking.com.

5. Payment Details

  • Card Type: Type of card used (Visa, Mastercard, Amex).

  • Card Number: PCI-friendly version of the card number.

  • Expiration Date: Expiration date of the card.

  • Cardholder Name: Name of the cardholder.

  • CVV / CVC: Shows if the security code was provided.

  • Is Virtual: Specifies if the card is virtual.

  • Notes: Any notes from the guest or OTA.

6. Booking Expenses

This section shows the total amount for the booking.

7. Revisions

You can view prior versions of the booking and the timestamp for each revision.

This breakdown of features allows you to manage and analyze your bookings thoroughly, ensuring a clear and complete experience for handling data and policies on each reservation.
