Steps to Set Up the Close Out Rule

  1. Access the Daily Rates by Unit Page
    Go to the daily rates by unit page.

  2. Access the "Availability Rules" Option
    Click the "Actions" button and select the "Availability Rules" function.

  3. Create a New Rule

    • Click the "Create" button.

    • Rule Name: Assign a descriptive name (e.g., "Close Out August Expedia").

    • Affected Dates: Set the date range you want to block. You can select specific dates or schedule it for future years if needed.

    • Type: Select Close Out.

    • Channel: Choose the channel you want to apply the rule to (e.g., Expedia).

    • Room: Select the rooms you want to block on that channel.

  4. Save the Rule
    Once configured, save the changes. The availability will be closed for the selected channel and dates.
