How to Add a New Unit in Aloha

Step-by-step guide to adding a new unit to your platform

Updated over a month ago

In Aloha Pro, a unit can be a property, cabin, apartment, or room available for booking at your accommodation. Each room, vacation rental, apartment, floating house, etc., is considered a rentable unit, referred to as a "room" in Aloha Pro.

For example:

  • Do you have an apartment? Then enter its name, such as "Villa María" or "Depto 210."

  • Do you have a hostel? Then name the rooms, such as "Deluxe Double Room" or "Double Room No. 1."

In Aloha Pro, you can add new units to your website by completing a form with all the essential details. This process is simple and allows you to customize each unit with detailed information and photographs.

Step 1 - Access the Units Section

  1. Log in to Aloha Pro.

  2. Go to the "Units" option in the main menu.

  3. Click on "Add New Unit" to start creating a new unit.

Step 2 - Complete the Unit Form
A form will open that you need to complete with the unit’s information. Here are the key fields you need to fill out:

  • Name: Give the unit an identifiable name.

  • Abbreviation: Optionally, enter an abbreviation that allows you to quickly recognize the unit.

  • Beds: Specify the number of beds available in the unit.

  • Amenities: List the available amenities (Wi-Fi, TV, air conditioning, etc.).

  • Size: Indicate the size of the unit (e.g., if it’s a room, apartment, cabin, glamping, etc.).

Step 3 - Add Photographs
To make your unit visually appealing, add relevant photographs.

  1. Click "Select" and then "Choose File" to upload each image.

  2. You can select multiple images at the same time to create an attractive visual gallery of the unit.

  3. Once the images are uploaded, make sure to select them all, and then click "Choose Files."

Step 4 - Add a Description
Provide an attractive and detailed description of the unit so visitors know what makes this unit special.
In the description section, include information about:

  • Unique details or standout features.

  • Additional services or exclusive experiences the unit offers.

  • Information about the unit’s style or design (e.g., "Rustic decor with sea views").

Step 5 - Save the Unit
Before finalizing, make sure to review all the information you have entered to ensure it is correct.
Once everything is complete and accurate, click "Save."
The new unit will automatically be registered on the platform and will be ready to be viewed by visitors on your website.

This process allows you to customize each unit with images, descriptions, and key details, enhancing the presentation of your properties on your website.
