Updated over a month ago

Connecting your Aloha Pay account with Aloha Pro allows you to manage your payments and services in an integrated way, optimizing your experience and facilitating the administration of your transactions. This article will guide you through the step-by-step process to link your accounts quickly and securely.

Step 1 - Access Your Aloha Pay Account

To begin, log in to your Aloha Pay account using your credentials (email and password). If you don’t have an account yet, we recommend checking out the article How to Create an Aloha Pay Account for detailed instructions on how to register.

Step 2 - Generate an API Key in Aloha Pay

Once you are logged into your Aloha Pay dashboard, you will need to generate an API key to link your account with Aloha Pro. To do this, follow these steps:

  • Click on your account name in the top right corner.

  • Select the “Profile” option from the dropdown menu.

This will take you to the necessary settings to generate your API key.

Step 3 - Generate the API Key

In the “Profile” section, scroll down until you find the “API Key” option. Once there:

  • Click on the “Generate API Key” button.

  • The platform will generate an API key that will be visible for 10 seconds for security reasons. It’s important that you copy and save it securely, as you will need it later to connect your Aloha Pay account with Aloha Pro.

This step is essential to enable the integration of both platforms and ensure secure access to your data.

Step 4 - Access the Aloha Pro Dashboard

After copying your API key, go to the Aloha Pro dashboard. To continue with the connection process, log in to Aloha Pro with your access credentials (email and password).

Step 5 - Go to the "System Management" Section

Once logged into the Aloha Pro dashboard, navigate to the “System Management” section. This section allows you to manage your account settings and connections, including integration with Aloha Pay.

Step 6 - Select "Payment Methods"

In the “System Management” menu, look for and click on the “Payment Methods” option. This section allows you to manage and configure the available payment methods in your Aloha Pro account, including integration with Aloha Pay.

Step 7 - Complete the Aloha Pay Configuration Fields

Once in the “Payment Methods” section, look for the Aloha Pay section and complete the following fields:

  • Aloha Pay Secret Key: Enter the API key you copied earlier.

  • Aloha Pay URL: Enter the address “pay.aloha.co”.

  • Enable Aloha Pay: Select the “Enable” option to activate Aloha Pay as a payment method.

You will also find an option to Register: This option redirects you to the Aloha Pay page in case you don’t have an account yet.

Step 8 - Save the Changes

After entering all the information and enabling Aloha Pay as a payment method, ensure the changes are saved properly by clicking on the “Update” button to confirm and save the modifications in the payment methods section.

This step is crucial for the integration between Aloha Pay and Aloha Pro to be completed successfully, allowing you to manage payments directly from your Aloha Pro account.

Step 9 - Verify the Configuration

Once the configuration is completed successfully, it’s important to verify that Aloha Pay has been enabled correctly. To do this:

  • Make a test reservation from your website.

  • In the payment methods section, you will see Aloha Pay listed along with the other enabled payment methods.

This will indicate that the connection between Aloha Pay and Aloha Pro was made successfully and is ready for use.
