General Requirements
Below is a list of valid documents for each country where Aloha Pay operates.To be accepted, documents must meet the following criteria:
Format Close to the Original Document:
Copies and scans must be in PDF format and taken directly from the original document.
Documents that are processed, converted, or embedded in other files are not allowed.
If the document is a photo of a physical document, it must be an unprocessed original image in JPEG or PNG format.
Restrictions on Screenshots:
Screenshots are not accepted as valid documents.
Information on Both Sides of the Document:
If the back of the document contains required information, include an image of the back when submitting via the
document_backparameter in the API.
Color and Image Quality:
Photos and scans of photo IDs must be in color.
Photos of paper documents must also be in color, but scans of paper documents (except photo IDs) may be in black and white.
Images must not be of low quality.
Validity and Legibility:
Identity and legal entity documents must not be expired.
Documents must be legible and uploaded in a valid file format.
Visible Borders:
Documents must not be cropped, missing pages, or omit crucial information; all borders must be visible.
Passports for Different Countries:
If the country of residence is different from the account's country, a passport will be required for identity verification.
