Step-by-step guide on how to set up the minimum stay rule for your website

Updated over a month ago

In this article, we will explain how to adjust the minimum stay rule for the rate on your website. This setting allows you to establish a minimum number of nights for bookings made through your own page, giving you more control over your accommodation options.

Step 1: Select the Rate for Your Website

  • First, within the "Rate Plans" section, identify the specific rate you created for your website. This rate is usually marked with a distinctive label to differentiate it from other channel rates.

Step 2: Edit the Rate

  • Once you’ve located the rate, select the edit option. This will take you to the advanced settings where you can make specific adjustments, including minimum stay restrictions.

Step 3: Set the Restrictions

  • In the advanced settings section, you will find the area for restrictions. Here, you can customize the number of nights you want as the minimum stay, either increasing or decreasing the days based on your needs. This is useful for controlling bookings on key dates or for encouraging longer stays during specific seasons.

Step 4: Save the Changes

  • After adjusting the number of nights, save the changes. The system will confirm that the action has been successfully completed, and once confirmed, the setting will automatically be recorded for the bookings on your website.
