How to Set Up DNS on NIC Chile

Follow these steps to configure your DNS settings on NIC Chile:

  1. Log In to Your NIC Chile Account

    • Go to the NIC Chile website and log in to your account.

  2. Select the Domain

    • Once logged in, select the domain you want to configure.

  3. DNS Settings

    • In the Section 4 "Name Servers (DNS)", you will enter the DNS server data (Name Servers).

    • You will need to create 4 Name Server (NS) records to add to the configuration.

    • The NS records should look similar to these examples:

      • ns-140.awsdns-17.com.

      • ns-1994.awsdns-57.co.uk.

      • ns-791.awsdns-34.net.

      • ns-1108.awsdns-10.org.

    • Note: Keep the "Configure NIC Chile as secondary server" option unchecked.

  4. Save the DNS Settings

    • Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on the "Update Domain Data" button located in the lower right corner.

    • Your DNS settings will now be saved.

Once you've completed these steps, your domain will be configured. Please note that DNS changes can take up to 24 hours to propagate.
