  1. Access Your GoDaddy Account

    • Click on "Sign In" and log in with your credentials.

  2. Navigate to the Domain Management Area

    • Once logged in, go to the "My Products" section from the main menu.

    • Locate the domain for which you want to add the CNAME record and click on "DNS" or "Manage DNS."

  3. Add a New Record

    • In the "Records" section, click on the "Add" button.

  4. Select CNAME Record Type

    • In the "Type" dropdown menu, select "CNAME."

  5. Fill in the Necessary Fields

    • Type: CNAME

    • Name: @

    • Value: api-server-prod-env.us-east-1.elasticbeanstalk.com

    • TTL: Leave the default value.

  6. Save the Changes

    • Click on the "Save" button.
      GoDaddy will apply the change automatically, but the propagation might take from 30 minutes to 24 hours.

  7. Verify the CNAME Configuration

    • You can use tools like dnschecker.org to verify if the CNAME record is functioning correctly worldwide.
