Configuring the meta data for your custom pages is a crucial step to optimize your website’s presence on search engines and enhance user experience.
Step 1 - Access Custom Pages
Once in the dashboard, go to Manage Website and then select Custom Pages.
Step 2 - Create a New Custom Page
After entering the Custom Pages section, click the Add button to create a new page.
Step 3 - Create the Page Content
Once inside the Custom Pages section:
Define the page title: This will be the visible header for users. Make sure it's clear and reflects the purpose of the page.
Assign a slug: The slug is usually a simplified version of the title (without spaces or special characters). For example:
Title: "House Rules"
Slug: "house-rules" (the hyphens are automatic, you only need to copy and paste the title)
Edit the content: Adjust the main text according to the page's needs. This text should be informative, relevant, and clear.
Step 4 - Meta Configuration
Complete the required fields for Meta Title, Meta Keywords, Meta Description, and Meta Image. Then, save the changes so that they apply to the new custom page.
