Connect your Booking.com account with Aloha via Channex.io
Step 1 - Access the Property Manager
Log in to the Booking.com Property Manager. We recommend this action be performed by the property administrator, as Booking.com requires a two-step authentication process. This involves using a security code sent to the registered phone number.
Step 2 - Get the Property Code
Once logged in, copy the property code displayed at the top of the navigation menu next to the property's name. This code is necessary to connect your Booking.com account with Aloha.
Step 3 - Access the Connectivity Provider
In the Booking.com navigation menu, select Account and then Connectivity Provider.
Click Search to access the list of providers.
Step 4 - Select Channex.io as a Provider
Type Channex.io into the search bar. Make sure to enter the full name, as this is the only way Channex.io will appear in the list of providers.
Step 5 - Confirm the Selection
Once you've selected Channex.io, a summary box with the information will be displayed. Click Next to proceed.
Step 6 - Accept the Terms and Conditions
To complete the connection, check the box to accept the terms and conditions, then click Yes, I Accept.
Create the Booking.com Channel in Aloha
Once the Booking.com connectivity provider setup is complete or pending, you can start the connection and mapping process. If you try beforehand, you'll get an error as the property has not yet granted you access.
Step 1 - Create the Booking.com Channel
In Aloha, go to the Channel Manager section, select Channels, and click the Create button to start a new connection.
Step 2 - Complete the Property Information
Channel: Type and select Booking.com.
Title: Enter a custom name to identify this connection; usually, it’s simply Booking.
Currency: Select the corresponding currency used in Booking.com.
Hotel ID: Enter the property ID (Hotel ID) you copied earlier from Booking.com.
If you didn’t copy it earlier, you can find it here.
Click the Test Connection button to verify if the property is ready for mapping. If successful, a green checkmark will appear to the left of the button.
Once the settings are complete and the test connection is successful, you can proceed with mapping.
Booking.com Mapping
Go to the Mapping section.
It’s crucial to map all rate plans, as any unmapped rate plan or room will cause issues later. If a rate plan or room is no longer needed, it’s better to remove the room from the Booking.com extranet.
On the left, you'll see all the rooms and rates in the channel, and on the right, you can see what’s mapped.
The room type names from Booking.com are their default names. If you’ve added a custom name in the extranet, they won’t be visible. That’s why we’ve also provided the room ID after the text.
Once mapping is complete, save the channel by pressing the Save button at the bottom.
Activate the Connection
The pop-up window will close, and you’ll need to activate the channel:
Go to Actions 🔽 and select Activate.
Final Configuration: IMPORTANT
After completing the above steps, perform the following three actions, which are done only once when you first connect and map the channel:
Full Synchronization:
Go to Actions 🔽, select Full Synchronization, and click OK.
Extract Future Reservations:
Go to Actions 🔽, select Extract Future Reservations, and click OK.
Full Sync
