Step 1: Configure the connection in Agoda

  1. Access Agoda's YCS:

    • Log in to the Agoda YCS platform.

    • Go to Property > Property Settings.

  2. Enable channel manager mode:

    • Click on Optional Settings.

    • Check the box Enable channel manager mode.

    • Select Channex.io or Channex from the dropdown menu.

    • Click Save.


Step 2: Create the Channel in AlohaPro

  1. Access AlohaPro:

    • Log in to AlohaPro’s intranet.

    • Go to Channel Manager > Channels.

  2. Create the channel:

    • Click on Create and select Agoda as the channel.

    • Fill in the required fields:

      • Hotel ID: Enter your hotel’s Agoda ID.

  3. Connection test:

    • Click the Connection Test button to verify access to the property on Agoda.

    • If there’s an error, verify the property ID or contact Agoda support to confirm the connection with Channex.io.


Step 3: Room Mapping

  1. Access the Mapping tab:

    • If the connection test is successful, go to the Mapping tab.

    • A mapping table will be displayed.

  2. Perform the mapping:

    • Match the room types in AlohaPro with the room types in Agoda.

    • Also map the corresponding rate plans.

⚠️ Important Note:

  • Agoda uses multi-occupancy. If you don’t support it, you can map the same room for all different occupancies.

  • Ensure that all rooms and rates are correctly mapped, with no unmapped items left.

  1. Save changes:

    • Click Save to confirm the mapping.

    • The pop-up window will close automatically.


Step 4: Activate the Channel

  1. Activate the channel:

    • Go to Actions 🔽 and select Activate.


Step 5: Initial Synchronization

You must perform the following actions only once after connecting and mapping the channel for the first time:

  1. Full synchronization:

    • Go to Actions 🔽 > Full Synchronization and confirm with OK.

  2. Extract future reservations:

    • Go to Actions 🔽 > Extract Future Reservations and confirm with OK.

  3. Select Full Sync:

    • Perform a final full sync from the Actions menu.
